Lauren Silich Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Loyola Water Tower stopped by OPRF to speak with marketing students about her responsibilities at a very busy restaurant in Downtown Chicago. Over the 48 minutes, Lauren enlightened my students about her day-to-day operation responsibilities. Ms. Silich touched on the fast paced atmosphere of the chain restaurant. Students got a taste of situations that occur during a day and the learning experiences Ms. Silich gives her workers and team members. OPRF School of Business students were able to ask questions about anything that happens inside the doors of her restaurant. Students asked how the cost of goods sold work to make her restaurant one the busiest fast food eateries in downtown Chicago.
